I have done my website on Publisher, and have sent the website and essay to my lecturer and I will hand in the hard copy of my essay tomorrow and a copy of my website as it is on publisher.

I made a great amount of changes to the website

On the Master Page I changed the Main Image.

Page One 'Home' I Changed the text from 'Welcome to the website'

to 'Welcome to the world of Fashion' which I think sound better. I also changed the colour scheme of the text on each page. I change the images and added new image where I thought suited better,I moved the text to the center of the page and changed the text.

On Page two 'Shop Reviews' I changed the Layout of the text as I though it would fit much better.

On Page three 'Dress for Less' I changed the text under the introduction of the page and the layout of the images and change some images as they need to be updated.

On Page Four 'Tips and Advice' I changed the introduction to the page and the images as well.

Page Five' Upcoming Events' I changed the upcoming events that were there as the events had already been on, I change then to event that will be going on soon, also the images and text.

Page Six ' Contact Us' I changed the text and added in more images.

I moved the heading that are the shop's Logo on the 'Shop Review' Page to the center to make the Logo standout on the page.

In the ' Tip and Advice' page I moved some of the images to the other side, to make the page different as I had all the images on one side all the way the down page.

Website Changes / Site Map 11/08/2010

I changed the colour of the side lines that separate text and images in the page 'Dress for Less' as this blends in better with the heading text colour in every page.

I checked the site map to make sure it worked and that each page linked, which it did.

I have done my website on MS publisher and I view it on Web Page Preview.

I made more changes to the website I moved the images and added different images as I found better ones that I think go with the background better.

I centered and made the text bold, the main heading on each pages and changed the colour again.

I made more changes to the website, I added more images to the website and made the layout of the 'Contact Us' page more user friendly.

The changed the text and colour in the site map to make it clearer and for it to standout.

The changes I made to the website

The changes I made to the website are the style of the text/context and the colour to the text in every page as the contacts from the background

I changed the pictures in the homepage and I added a picture to the second page ' Shop Reviews'

The site map, I changed the colour of the text in the site map as it matched better to the colour of the text in the website.

I also change the outline colour of the Logo 'Ladies Fashion, you dream it, we find it' as it will match the text in the site map.

Well my website is about Fashion and it has six pages

Page one - Home Page

The title is Ladies Fashion -Welcome to the site, give a run down what abut the website
On this Page I talked about lasies fashion and I also put in images.

Page Two- Shop Reviews

I wrote about the bargains where people will find top of the range style for a good price
I put in images that will catch the peoples eyes
and also about the populare shopping retails outlets.

Page Three- Dress for Less

To compare afforable brands to the designer brands and still look same but half the price
Compare what the fashion models are wearing to what every one else is wearing
Compare shops example. Brown Thomas Vs A/ware

Page Four- Tips and Advice

Latest season fashion tips and about the accessories how they can benfit an outfit and make it so expensive
Give help and guidence on make up, hair product
I put in images to brighten the page

Page Five- Upcoming Events

I told about the Fashion show that would be coming up
The upcoming event, how you can learn how the models put clothes togther
I also put in images

Page Six- Contact Us

Details how to contact us, by putting in a map that will show the Location,

This blog is for my Website design(Repeat exam). I have thought of alot of differnent ideas for the website design. what my website is going to be about, is ladies fashion as I would be able to get a great amount of information on it and the colours and page layout would very nice because of all the colours from my pictures and the background colours.

I have reseach more about Ladies fashion and see what I am going to put into each page or what changes I will make on each page. The website is on MS Publisher as I very filmier with using it. I am trying to think of ideas how I can improve on my website,I have tested differnet colours and tried moving the layout of pictures, but I will have to removed certain pictures as i do not want to over clutter my website.

Well last week was very busy.we had a test on Wednesday and Thursday that were very hard and this week is very busy because we have three project due in one Tuesday which is the website project for this class. We have the PR project and Database project due in on Wednesday and Friday.It is a very busy week we also had a test today whih was very hard.It is Michellee Welly Birthday tommorow!! I like cake,cant wait for some cake...yummy!! We are working on our website project now got to get it done for 12noon tomorrow.This week is going to be very hard. Next week is studying week,and then the follwing week is EXAMS!!and we are starting them on a Saturday which is not to bad because they will all be finished then exams before Christmas. Cant wait for Christmas.

Last week was very busy again at college.we have alot of assigments and projects due again next week ,we have the website project due in for next friday and our is coming along very good well i think.in my group there is Tara, Colin, David and I. We have done alot of reserch for the website and we are going putting all the information together on Wednesday and will see then how our website really looks.The weather was very bad last week and their was alot of floods, alot of towns and places got destroyed by the floods there is alot of pictures on youtube of different areas been flooded and some places are without water.I went to the cinema last week with friends and we went to see ''Jennifer Body" because we were late and that was the only thing showning that we were on time for, which in my opinion was very dispointing..it was crap!!we have to fill out a form no it is a survey of students by lecturer and it has aload of questions for us to fill in.This survey is to obtain the views of students on as given in the survey of students undertaken by the lecturer by way of the form, on their experiences in the Department in which the students are in.

Well the weekend is over and we are working on our project for web we have set our team meeting. I had a good weekend i went out friday night it was a very good night i got to talk to all my friends. I really want to go shopping this week to get loads of new things and spend all my money because i was out in mahon point last week and saw loads of clothes that i like and want of course...Michelle and I are working on our P.R project we have to do a press release about the company that we got and we are going to meeting up with the person again soon to get tips and ideas about what we are going to write about. We are going to go visit the company to to get a feel of the place and see how they do thier work. I find the web class very interesting and like doing the website project and we hope to do well in it.

Last week in collage was very busy, I handed up the 3,000 word essay on Friday and had a database exam as well. For Public Relation we have a project to do that we meet up with our company and we have to do a press release for them, the company is situated at the airport. My weekend was very good. Last week i went to the cinema and i went to see couple retreat it was good but was kinda dragged out a bit near the end. It was very funny in parts.I really enjoyed it.I watched the X factor last night and was very disappointed that Lucy was voted out as i thought that she was very good.I thought last night that John and Edward would have got voted out as i taught Simon would have voted then out.

College

College is getting very hard as we have a lot of essays and assignment due in soon along with exams.We are in week 8 of semester one and in semester two we are going on work placement which will be very good experience and will help when we finish college to find a job.I still have not found any where to get get work experience yet. I have my C.V done. I hope to get work placement somewhere soon and be prepared for semester two. I cant wait to be out on work placement as it will be a changed for college and i think it will hopefully be more enjoyable and interesting.

Last Monday was a bank holiday so we had no college, we have a 3,000 word essay to hand in for Friday..i am doing RFID and privacy and it is quite hard..we have a test on Friday on database systems too.it was Halloween last on Saturday, and i went out it was a brilliant night.everyone was dressed up.

We just learned about the variety of tools and technologies. there are 12 subheading that we talked about for examples we talked about html, CSS, javascript, java, PHP, SQL, notepad, special text editors, MS word, frontpage, dreamweaver and CMS.We are going looking at the webnode.com the next day.

Well it was my birthday sunday the 18th of October and i was 22 years old...i had a great weekend...i cant wait till this weekend again because its a long weekend and we have friday and monday off collage cant wait yipee...have a project to start too.we have an MIS test tomorrow MCQ :(.....

Its Monday morning and it so cold..in web class hearing all about blogs it is very interesting.I had a great weekend and got alot done.
